Smartphone Photography

If you are wondering how to get crisp, professional quality photos from your smartphone, this workshop is for you! Local professional photographer Grant Kaye guides participants through the lens of a smartphone by sharing his tips on setting up your shot, making your photograph, editing, and even ordering a custom photo book!

Participants will meet at Atelier to learn the basics of the free photo editing app Snapseed, available on both Android and iPhone. Students will then head out on a photo walk through downtown Truckee working from a pre-determined shot list. Once the shots are captured, Grant will guide students through the editing process right from your phone, no computer or Lightroom needed! We will also introduce an additional app Mosaic that allows you to upload your photos and order a personalized hard cover book.
