Acrylic Painting

In this beginner level class, we will cover basic acrylic painting techniques including color mixing and color theory. Wayne Thiebaud’s paintings of food and everyday objects, and learn “halation” techniques to add colorful modern touches to still life painting. Experimental techniques will be introduced, and a fun new approach to painting will be the end result. This class is perfect for someone interested in loosing up their style, breaking out of stylistic constraints, and developing their understanding of color theory.
